COVID Safe requirements for PVL Training this week

24 Aug 2021 by Peter Worthy

Tl;dr

- Don’t come if you are unwell or have been to a declared hotspot
- You need to wear a mask during entry and exit
- Please keep up hygiene practices including wiping down equipment
- Everyone must check-in using the Qld Gov Check-in App

Hi Everyone,

As required by Qld Health, we would like to remind everyone who is attending training today of our responsibilities to help stay COVID safe:

1. Do not come if in the previous 14 days:

a. You have returned to Australia from overseas
b. Been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case
c. Been in a Qld declared COVID-19 hotspot, place of concern or exposure venue, as defined by Qld Health

2. Do not come if in the last 72 hours you have had fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms.

3. Everyone attending must check-in using the Qld Government Check in Qld App. If you aren’t able to use this app, please see an Easts staff member so they can help you.

4. There are restrictions on the number of people that can be present inside our training venue. We are discouraging spectators at this training unless there is a justifiable reason for you to stay at training (e.g. a medical condition).

5. Whilst you are at the venue (inside or outside), please maintain physical distancing. An exception is if you’re actively involved in training.

6. You must wear a mask as you are entering and leaving the venue. This is because it will most likely be difficult for you to maintain physical distancing.

7. Whilst you are inside the venue you must wear a mask. The only exceptions to this are whilst actively involved in training, it is unsafe for you to wear a mask (e.g. if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask), or you need to remove your mask temporarily to support communication.

8. You must sanitise your hands as you enter the venue and regularly whilst you are inside the venue. We will have hand sanitiser available.

If you have any questions about the above or need health advice call 134 COVID (134 268).

Thanks for your co-operation!

Regards,
